License and purchase terms

Effective 13 October 2026. These terms govern the official NullDisk app and direct license purchases. NullDisk’s developer and licensor is Telesoft AG.

Free use

You may install and use the official NullDisk app indefinitely, free of charge, for personal use and ordinary use at work. All app features are available without payment. The direct edition may show occasional dismissible requests to support development. Free use requires no account and has no expiry.

Optional supporter purchase

A personal supporter license removes support reminders permanently in compatible direct editions. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. One named person may use it on their own computers, including computers they primarily use for work. You may reinstall and activate offline. Do not publish or sell the license code.

Team packs

A team pack is owned by the purchasing organization. Each purchased seat covers either one named user on their computers or one shared workstation. Organizations may reassign seats when staff or devices change, provided the number of covered users and shared workstations does not exceed the purchased quantity. A team code may be shared privately with covered users and deployed through your existing tools.

Team packs provide reminder removal and organization ownership. They do not include a management dashboard, deployment consulting, a service-level agreement, priority support, or access to additional app features.

Updates and the App Store

A supporter license has no expiry. It does not guarantee unlimited future updates, new products, or ongoing personal support. Existing licenses retain their purchased rights. The Mac App Store edition is sold separately as a paid, reminder-free download through Apple and is subject to Apple’s applicable purchase and usage terms. Direct purchases do not automatically create an Apple purchase entitlement.

Payment and refunds

Direct purchases are processed by Creem, the merchant of record. Your final price, currency, applicable taxes and receipt are shown by Creem at checkout. We offer a 30-day refund window for direct supporter purchases; contact support with your order details. Apple handles App Store refunds under its policies. These terms do not reduce statutory consumer rights.

Refunded or disputed direct orders stop qualifying for new license delivery and recovery. Previously activated offline licenses may remain usable because the app does not perform routine online checks.

Software ownership and distribution

The app’s source code, artwork and branding remain the property of their rights holders. Free use does not grant a right to modify or redistribute the proprietary app, remove its reminders through a modified distribution, sell copies, or share personal license codes. Rights required by applicable law and the separate licenses of third-party components are preserved. You may link to the official free download.

Care when cleaning files

You choose which files to remove. Review your selection and maintain appropriate backups. The software is provided as-is to the extent allowed by law; warranties and liability that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
